the flesh is greenish yellow, firm texture,
juicy and mildly tart. This apple is best appreciated when cooked into
sauce or pies. The N.W. Greening ripens in October, and is a good keeper. These apples have only natural bloom, and have not been waxed as fruit which you may be used to from the supermarket. |
